In this blog, I share how I moved from being a computer programmer to reprogramming the subconcious mind.
So what did you want to do when you grew up and how does it relate to what you do now?

This is a conversation I had with some friends recently.

And I remembered when I was about 11 or 12 I had my ZX Spectrum and I’d get magazines learning basic programming.

I wanted to be a computer programmer when I grew up…
And I was for a while in my corporate job.

On the surface, this seems a million miles from what I do now working with people struggling with stress and anxiety and pain and health issues using energy psychology.

But when I think about it, I realised that I have just moved from programming computers to reprogramming the subconscious mind.

Because the subconscious mind is like a super computer.
It is the operating system – it runs our body –  breathing, heart beating, digestion and  healing are all under the control of the subconscious mind.

It also runs the programs we have learnt, such as driving a car program or the walking program.
It also runs those less helpful programs … the bad habits we’d like to break or things that maybe served us when we were younger but aren’t helpful now.

I help people to move from situations where they are not happy and ask them to think about what they really want instead and reprogram them with the subconscious beliefs that will help them get that.

Of course, debugging is a big part of programming too. When the system isn’t working properly, e.g. if a person isn’t healing properly, there is a reason why.

The subconscious mind also contains a database of everything you’ve ever done,  all your memories, the emotions you felt, your beliefs and values … everything.

By using kinesiology (AKA muscle testing) we are able to access that database to get information about what is blocking from healing or achieving their goal.

And then I use various techniques to clear those blocks – just like debugging!

So very briefly, that is how I moved from programming computers, which I wanted to do when I was little, to reprogramming the subconscious mind – something that I could never have even imagined was possible when I was a child.
